Natalie Rogers
Writer and Teacher
Greetings!
I am a Chinese American writer currently based in Utah. Born in Hong Kong, I grew up in Reseda, California, and I've lived all around the country. I'm completing my first novel set in 1960s Hong Kong, which is inspired by my mother's childhood in Kowloon City. From 2019-2021, I will teach fiction and literature at Utah State University as a Diversity Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow.
I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University and a PhD in CW from the University of Denver. My fiction has appeared in Narrative, New Orleans Review, and Juked.
